I studied my MA in creative writing at Manchester Metropolitan University. I also studied creative writing with Curtis Brown and The Faber Academy.

In 2021 I founded The Cheshire Novel Prize and in 2023 Cheshire Novel Prize Kids where many writers have gone on to great success, not only to secure agent representation, but also publishing deals. Please check out our website: www.cheshirenovelprize.com

My short stories have appeared in popular women’s magazines, People’s Friend and Woman’s Way. After finally putting aside time to write in 2024, I am currently editing my debut novel.

I enjoyed a brief, but valuable experience, working as a Storyliner on Coronation Street. This opportunity helped me further understand plotting and characterisation and the need for story momentum.

I edit all genres of fiction, but my specialties include: psychological thrillers, crime, psychological noir and women’s commercial fiction/book club reads.
